I reviewed a few e-readers including Sony Reader, the Nook and the Apple I pad. I didn't bother with the Kindle because I would want to use the device to download free library books so for now the Kindle is out. I liked the size of the Sony Reader and think that would be the one I would pick.
Steps to downloading
1. Download OverDrive
2. Log on to Marmot Library Network
3. Find a book , go to checkout, enter card #, confirm checkout and download.

Hiya, for ebooks, you only need Adobe Digital Editions software--OverDrive Media Console is for everything else (audiobooks, video, music) :)
