I checked a couple of Nancy's blogs. My by far favorite is Tastespotting. I don't have any blogs to share. Webolution is the only thing I have time to blog.

I really like Picnik vs Photoshop! It is easier and fast. I'm going to install it on my home computer.

I like the delicious site!!! Great for finding jobs (not doing that), checking out what is going on with PLA and CLIC. If I ever get more time I'd like to revisit this one.

Sound effects were fun. I can see where we might use them to spice up a boring slide show.
My favorite music site is last FM. I didn't find any new artists I dig em all.

My first attempt at downloading a book was a disaster. My computer at home must not have enough something....I am impressed at the number of titles available! At least I know enough to walk a patron through the steps needed to do this.
Tiny url
I shrunk down the url for the wiki and came up with http://tiny.cc/I3G6S. Big advantage to this is that a tiny url is much easier to get all the letters and numbers correct. I'm not sure if I've ever actually tried typing in a long url. I usually just copy and paste it.

We have dealt with the Government website frequently at Clifton. During tax season we use the state and federal sites daily. I did get frustrated last week trying to get a particular court form. I enlisted the help of several other people but we still weren't successful. Overall this is so much easier than trying to find information in some of the books we used to have behind the ATS desk.

I've been playing with Clipmarks at home. My children and my husband are very disturbed by my new found skills. They told me to cease clipping!!! How dare they.

Finally, something I already knew something about. I have been using Open Office on my home computer and find it to be nearly identical to Office. I have had no problems sending files to Office users. Seems like a very cheap way to get an expensive product.
Task # 19
This was a pretty simple, straight forward activity. I got them all right. The only one that gave me any trouble was the Foundation Center's database training class.
